MEDICON spreads K-beauty trend at 2024 Intercharm Korea
Seoul, Korea South, 19th Aug 2024 – Medicon participated in the “2024 Intercham Korea” held at COEX in Seoul for three days from July 24 to 26. Intercharm Korea is a global beauty and cosmetics exhibition, an international event visited by more than 3,000 overseas buyers from more than 50 countries every year.
At this exhibition, Medicon introduced home beauty devices, including skin care equipment that are used in hospitals and clinics. The products that drew attention in particular are “Ulkin”, which uses HDU (High Dual Ultrasound), and “Ultite,” which uses MFU (Micro-Focused Ultrasound).
Ulkin is a skin care equipment called “water drop lifting” and employs HDU of 1 MHz, 3 MHz, and 10 MHz, showing excellent effects regarding moisturizing and elasticity management. It is also useful for 14 types of problems, including acne, atopic dermatitis, scarring, and stretch marks, and the nanoporesis mode maximizes the absorption of active ingredients in the skin.
Ultite, which uses MFU, promotes collagen regeneration in the skin, and is excellent in lifting skin, managing inner elasticity, and improving wrinkles. It forms a smaller heat point of 1/3 of the area, compared to HIFU (High-intensity focused Ultrasound), making it more precise and accurate, and minimizes pain and swelling that occurs during the procedure.
In addition to Ulkin and Ultite, home beauty devices DWAVE and TWAVE have also gained attention of local customers and overseas buyers. DWAVE, which uses MFU and RF (Radio Frequency), is effective in lifting skin and elasticity management, improves sagging skin angles such as eye corners, mouth corners, and jaw lines by up to 5°, and manages skin tone, skin texture, pores, and gloss. With TWAVE, you can perform water drop lifting treatment at home by investing just 6 minutes a day, and you can expect the same effect as dermatologist.
An official from Medicon said, “Through Intercharm Korea, we were able to discover new customers and overseas buyers, and it was a meaningful place to introduce the excellence of Medicon products directly.”
Medicon is also planning to participate in the “2024 Beauty & Healthcare Show” which is going to be held in Songdo Convensia from August 29 to 31.
